The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu will visit Aba, Abia State on Sunday.

This is even as he visited the home of a former civilian governor of old Imo State, late Dr. Sam Mbakwe yesterday. Coordinator of IPOB, Mr. Ikechukwu Ugwuoha disclosed this in a telephone interview. The younger brother of the IPOB leader, Prince Emmanuel Kanu also confirmed the visits. Ugwuoha disclosed that the executive members of IPOB in the state were in a crucial meeting preparatory to the proposed visit.

It was gathered that during the visit, the IPOB leader would among other places visit National High School located along Port Harcourt road where some IPOB supporters were reportedly killed by security agents during the group’s gathering last year.

Meanwhiile, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, led his members to the Parish Priest of Blessed Iwene Tansi, Umudioka, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, Rev.Fr. Emmanuel Obimma a.k.a Ebube Muonso to thank him for upholding the truth and his prayers.

Obimma, who is also the founder and Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Idemmili North Local Government Council of the state, received Nnamdi Kanu and his members appealing to them to ensure no breech of peace in whatever they do.

The priest prayed for the pro-Biafran agitators after a-30 minute closed door meeting with their leader, Kanu.

He told journalists that he reached a consensus with Kanu on the way forward and described Kanu as a courageous leader but warned him to have a rethink on the threat to boycott November 18 Anambra governorship election. He added that any country or state without a leader is like ship in a river sailing without bearing. His words:

“For me, it will be more problematic to say that there won’t be any election in Anambra State. It’s like somebody firing gun on his toes. Kanu is a human being and activist to the best of my knowledge”.

“He requested to see me and amidst all odds, I granted him the opportunity and we had some deliberations geared towards the good of Anambra State and Nigeria in general because I am a priest of God. Christ, when he died, reconciled both the Jews and the Gentiles” “Christ came into the world and reincarnated the message of peace and that was why I advised Kanu to uphold peace following the tensions everywhere in the country. Let love lead all that we do.

I advised him to do anything within his power to promote peace, even in their agitation, let there be prudence” The fiery preacher, who threw his weight behind restructuring of Nigeria, lamented that people of the South East and other zones are being marginalized from the scheme of things and called on Igbo stakeholders to sit up and speak against the injustice.

“In our country Nigeria, it is certain that there is marginalization, nepotism and tribalism.”

We are one Nigeria but some people are being marginalized and that is the essence of all these agitations but in everything, let there be prudence and let also pray for divine intervention because the heart of every king is in the hand of God. “Igbos are clamoring for Biafra but an average Igbo man is selfish in nature and the question is, how matured are we to handle our affairs.

Where are the Igbo cabals and stakeholders; like Nnia Nwodo, Peter Obi, Emeka Anyaoku, Ifeanyi Ubah, Soludo, Iwuanwaywu, Ibeto and many others. There has to be a unifying umbrella where they will gather and register their protest” he said.

Ebube Muonso however thanked God for President Muhammadu Buhari’s safe return and quick recovery, calling on him to look into agitations bedevilling the nation and mindless killings.

“We thank God for Buhari’s return and the entire ministry has been praying for him for safe return. Nobody will wish a fellow human being death but the president should know that Nigerians love him” Fr. Obimma stated.
