Anambra APC Primaries: Accreditation Commences Ahead Of November Elections

Anambra State Election Accreditation 

Accreditation has commenced as members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are gathering at the Awka, the state capital ahead of November governorship elections.

Over 5,000 delegates are participating in the accreditation exercise, while 11 aspirants are contesting the governorship ticket.

Some of the candidates include; Senator Andy Ubah, House of Reps member, Tony Nwoye, National Auditor of the APC, Mr. George Muoghalu, APC House of Reps candidate in the 2015 general election, Bart Nwibe, former PDP governorship candidate in 2014, Mr. Obinna Uzor among six others.

There is heavy security presence and the police have already arrested 19 people, six of whom were allegedly fake delegates. They have been remanded in the custody of the police.
