Ex-council boss assassinated in Edo

The immediate past chairman of Estáko East local government area of Edo State, Suleiman Afegbua, has been reportedly assassinated by unknown gunmen. Family sources said he was killed on Thursday morning along Benin-Auchi road. One of his cousins who refused to be named confirmed the killing.


 “You know he is a Muslim. We are expecting further information on how he will be buried,” the cousin said.
