Panic in the house as Senate move to impeach President Buhari

Buhari may be on his way out of Aso Rock as Nigeria's President as plans are underway to start impeachment proceedings against him by the upper legislative chambers, a source privy to the plan revealed to Biafrainfo in  Abuja, Nigeria's capital city.
The President of Africa's most populous country has been having a running battle with the leadership of the upper legislative house which has triggered off frosty relations between the Legislature and the Executive. Over 85% members of the senate, our source , revealed are in sympathy with the duo of Saraki and Ekweremadu which informed their interest and desire to cut Buhari down to size.

Our source added that majority of the senators are of the opinion that it could be one of them tomorrow and concluded that Buhari has more than enough dictatorial blood still flowing in his veins and resolved with one accord to save Nigeria from drifting into regimentation and dictatorship. The decision to impeach him is to stop Buhari from plunging Nigeria into a political crisis as he is increasingly becoming unpopular among Nigerians.

Nigeria,  the source said , is larger than any individual  and a million times  larger than  Buhari  adding that they will not sit idly and  watch him  drag the country into an avoidable crisis that would disintegrate Nigeria.

Their anger stems from the proposed trial of the Senate leadership over forgery, a case for which Senate president, Bukola Saraki; his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, and other officers were recently charged to court.
